If you want to sell your business yourself – without using a business broker – we provide you with independent guidance on what you need to do to make a sale, step by step. In some places this is referred to as For Sale By Owner, or FSBO.

This is a coaching engagement. You do the ‘heavy lifting,’ we provide the roadmap and advice to do things the right way. This is a service ideally suited to very small businesses where the brokerage fee would be a significant portion of the proceeds of sale, generally firms under NZ$100,000.

Business brokers will add value to your business in the sale process, and we strongly – and unequivocally – recommend you use a broker when you sell, and are happy to recommend some good brokers to you.

There are times where using a broker or other intermediary doesn’t work for some business owners. That is why we have this offering. We would rather you have some advice and guidance than none.
