BNI Pitch

Too Many Irelands

When buying or selling a business, you need to work hard to effectively communicate and understand what the other side is talking about.

This post is about one of my 45-second pitches at my BNI Chapter, BNI City Business. You can read the introduction to this collection here.

10 February and 17 February, 2023. My pitch slot got inadvertently skipped on the 10th, so this slide waited until the following Friday.

Continuing the Lost in Translation collection introduced at the start of February, another example of poor translation on a product for use in an Asian market. This was coupled with a simple message of ensuring your communication is effective for your audience. This harks back to the Tapping Game used previously: make sure your audience has a better chance of understanding what you are saying by making sure you provide adequate context.

The images used were found on the internet. There are many out there, with an entire collection at www.engrish.com.
