15 March 2024. Continuing the puzzle theme from last week, this time a song is the answer to the puzzle. Admittedly, this is quite a cryptic clue, but it is actually one of my favourite songs, and I found this very funny. It’s easy when you know the answer…

“Another puzzle. What song does this image represent?” Silence. “A hint: released in 1980, it was one of the top global hits in 1981. The video was co-produced by Tony Basil of ‘Hey Mickey’ fame. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it at number 28 on its 2021 list of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time”. The music video has been named among the greatest by several publications.”

A few guesses like “Highway to Hell,” until Matt (the electrician in our group) said “Once in a Lifetime.” “Why?” I asked. “Some of the lines at the beginning I think.” I was impressed someone got the clues.

I am not a singer, so I had to recite the relevant lyrics as a poem:

“And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile,

And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife,

And you may ask yourself ‘Well, how did I get here?'”
