BNI Pitch

Be Patient

Slide #37 - When buying a business, be patient with the process. Don't rush it.

This post is about one of my 45-second pitches at my BNI Chapter, BNI City Business. You can read the introduction to this collection here.

9 December, 2022. This meme had popped up in my feeds the previous week, and I happened to show it to a member of the chapter at a social function. He thought it was funny, and suggested I use it. This is the closest to a request I have done in my slides.

The version of the meme I had was poor quality, so I needed to hunt down a better copy of the image, and then reproduce it in Canva.

The message to business buyers was about being patient. Not just with due diligence, but the whole process. Don’t rush into making a purchase. Make sure it is the right business, and you are comfortable you understand the business adequately to buy it.

This was the final in my Business Buying Tips series. At the end, I realised the memes had dominated and driven the series (as opposed to the messages), but I was happy with the outcome.
