This post is about one of my 45-second pitches at my BNI Chapter, BNI City Business. You can read the introduction to this collection here.

24 November 2023. The day after US Thanksgiving (actually, because of the timezone difference, it was still Thanksgiving in the US). I had planned to use this cartoon over six months before. It seemed apt, but keep in mind we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in New Zealand.

Of course, something that had changed since cueing up this slide well before the date was the introduction of the pitch themes, so I had to see what I could do to make a link. The theme this week was Why are you so good at what you do? What’s your personal unique selling point?

I couldn’t see a link, so I ignored the pitch theme and just went for the joke. Cheap laughs and all that.
