A Useful Idiot is a mystical, theoretical being that will solve every vendor’s needs: they will pay over what a business is worth. Vendors often believe Useful Idiots abound. They don’t. If someone is willing to pay well over value, odds are they are seeing something you can’t. Or they really are a Useful Idiot.

Here, the message topic sent me in search of the right meme image. I was tempted by some Darwin Award recipients, but their stories take too long to explain. This story was short and complete. And funny.

This slide was used in 2022, after the Lassie, get Help slide, but somehow has sat in draft mode for a few months. Better late than never!
